Position Description
You will manage the translation of customer-facing literature and labeling necessary to support our client’s worldwide regulatory, marketing, and sales objectives.
Position Responsibilities
- Communicate project scope and timelines to external translation vendors in order to procure quotes
- Work with internal project managers to assess and mitigate risk, develop a schedule, and understand project requirements
- Review quotes and invoices for accuracy and budgeting
- Manage the timely and accurate completion of localized literature and labeling by external localization vendors
- Assure project quality by reviewing and checking final files from external vendors for completeness and adherence to standards before submitting for final approval
- Implement changes in translated content in XML format
- Resolve project issues by working with team members, project customers, vendors, and others as appropriate
Required Qualifications
- Project management experience
- Business proficiency with the MS Office suite
- Experience in the translation industry
- Knowledge of a secondary language
- Strong collaboration skills

- Bachelor’s degree plus 2-5 years related work experience in translation localization or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with a Language Service Provider (LSP)
- Experience with or knowledge of multiple languages
- Experience with an XML-based content management system
- Experience with format checking, proofreading, or editing
- Experience in a medical device or other regulated industry
