POSITION DESCRIPTION
Are you a dedicated and motivated professional interested in leveraging your learning and technology skills to improve career development and leadership performance at Medtronic? We are looking for a Training and Development Specialist to drive innovation and performance through learning, career, and leadership development solutions. You will work in an environment of high change and have the capacity for success in a diverse, complex, and changing environment.
You will work with a variety of partners and stakeholders to help design, develop, deliver and measure leadership and learning programs, tools, resources and learning communities of practice within the core career and leadership development team. Working with these key stakeholders, you will support the execution of our global learning and leadership development strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support design and execution of leadership, career development and/or coaching programs, tools, resources, processes, channels, and communities of learning.
- Utilize social media and digital learning and technology skills.
- Evaluate effectiveness of solutions against objectives.
- Engage with stakeholders and participants to understand needs and business priorities.
- Research key trends and best practices in the field.
- Be primary project manager and liaison with coordination professionals and other administrative partners.
- May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of experience in Learning & Development or HR, or an advanced degree.
