POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Position develops best-in-class digital marketing programs to align with the overall marketing and communications objectives for the assigned business unit. Qualified candidates will be fluent in their understanding of the strategies and tactics of today’s digital marketing ecosystem, and how create and sell integrated plans that drive business results. This role is a member of the Global Digital Marketing team in Corporate, while being embedded into an assigned business unit in order to closely partner with clients in the Marketing and Marketing Communications teams as their in-house digital strategist.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead planning of digital marketing campaigns that exceed client expectations and support business objectives
  • Effectively build relationships with marketing and marketing communications teams and act as main point of contact for planning digital programs
  • Analyze various data sources (i.e. 3rd party research, competition, digital trends, past campaign data) to help guide and inform digital plans
  • Build comprehensive campaign briefs to set up our creative and production teams to efficiently create great experiences
  • Partner with internal Global Digital Marketing team of creative, analytics, social media, email, search, and web experts to create robust campaigns
  • Work closely with analytics team to create measurement plans and deliver insightful campaign reports to clients
  • Effectively communicate and sell fresh ideas/plans to business partners and gain alignment
  • Manage external vendors/agencies and campaign budgets as appropriate
  • Review creative and production output to ensure it aligns with the strategy, client expectations, and business unit objectives
  • Partner with digital marketing teams in other regions to ensure digital plans are appropriately aligned and best practices are shared
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns/clients at once and effectively prioritize work
  • Play a thought-leader role by sharing knowledge and best practices with the digital team and client teams

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • MBA preferred
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience strategizing B2B digital marketing programs. Experience in medical device, biopharma, healthcare or another regulated field is preferred. Agency background is a plus.
  • Candidate must have strong digital marketing acumen and a proven track record of developing and selling impactful campaign plans that drive business results. Thorough understanding of inbound & outbound email marketing, organic and paid search engine marketing, social media marketing, content marketing, website strategy, customer relationship management, webcasts/webinars, and more is required.

**Candidate must have several years of digital planning/strategy experience. Must have at least 7-10 years of experience overall in professional digital marketing roles**
