Position Description
The Sr. Global Supply Chain Transformation Communications Specialist will be responsible for developing communications and change activities in support of our Global Supply Chain Transformation. The position reports to the Global Supply Chain Change Management Program Manager and will partner closely with the Global Supply Chain Enterprise Process Leads and Program Managers, Transformation communications team and Global Supply Chain communications lead.
In this role, you will manage and execute communications and change management to provide behavior change, enable end-user knowledge and awareness, and support a successful adoption of new processes, technology or workflows. This role is funded through April 30, 2021.
Position Description:
- Create and implement strategic internal communications plans, programs and content, using a variety of tools, channels and tactics including websites, PowerPoint, and video production.
- Lead execution of change communications to support overall change strategy, driving employee engagement and business impact.
- Leverage and deliver strategic communications and change tactics to drive awareness, increase desire, and build knowledge
- Plan, write and edit content to persuade, educate and inspire internal audiences to change behavior or understand the work environment.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business and program sponsors and leadership.
- Serve as a strategic partner to the Transformation Program Management, Change Management, Communications leaders and Knowledge Management Leaders.
- Collaborate to support alignment across workstreams and with Change Management Program Manager, Enterprise Process Lead, PM and Knowledge Management on Transformation deliverables, outcomes and key milestones of the overall transformation.
- Facilitate collaboration between Group, Regions and Transformation.
- Promote use of best practices and ensure business and function teams leverage existing systems, process and approaches as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree B.A./B.S.
- 4 years of relevant experience, (2 years with a Master’s degree) in a professional communications role within a Corporate, Agency or Consulting environment
- Proven experience and ability to navigate complex organizations
- Previous work managing communications for large-scale change programs
- Experience presenting and interacting with senior management
Nice to Have:
- MBA or Masters in Communications, Organization Development or related discipline
- Experience with a large-scale business transformation or organizational change effort
- Supply Chain experience
- Significant client facing experience in a multi-national corporation
