Duration: 5-6 months (possible contract extension)

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Our client, a manufacturer of test equipment for semiconductors integrated circuits, is seeking for a highly motivated technical writer to work on creating and documenting test reports. The tech writer will conduct interviews with various users and technical staff to gather data for documentation. Research and translate technical information into manuals and/or web-based documents for nontechnical and technical users. Produces products that conform to the company documentation and quality assurance standards. This position will support the R&D, Product Development, and RF groups.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills , with a proficiency in English grammar, spelling and punctuation.
  • Excellent listening and observation skills.
  • AA/AS/BA Degree in English, Technical writing, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Technical background- preferred
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office products
  • Comfortable with high-technology—particularly with semiconductor or integrated circuits, PLCs, software/hardware interfaces and controls
